• Log in to your domain contol panel or cPanel.
• Click on the ' subdomains' link under the subdomain icon.
• You will be taken to 'Sub Domain Maintanance' page.Enter the new sub domain name e.g. Forum in the left hand side entry box and ensure that correct domain is selected in the right hand side drop down menu.
• Click on 'Add' button.
• You will get a confirmation message stating that the new sub domain Forum.yourdomain.com you created has been added.A folder(directory) is automatically created with the same name as the new sub domain.It is located in the root (public_html) directory.This is where you upload the files for the sub domain.
• Click 'Go Back' button to return to the 'Sub Domain Maintanance' page.
• If you like you can redirect this sub domain to any URL of your desire.
• Click on 'Setup Redirection' which will take you 'Sub Domain Redirection' page.Enter the URL you wish to redirect the subdomain to point.If it is pointing to to a specific page,Make sure you include a triling " / ".
• Click 'Save' button.You will get a confirmation meggase stating that the your subdomain Forum.yourdomain.com is redirected to the URL you have given.
• Clikc 'Go Back' to return to 'Sub Domain Maintanance' from where you can remove the redirection by clicking 'Remove Redirection' button. You will get a confirmation message that your redirection has been disabled.
• You may return here to to delete the sub domain altogather by clicking 'Delete' button.
